ACHS BASEBALL COACH BIOS
Varsity:
TJ Foreman enters his second season as the head coach of Camarillo High School baseball. In his first year, he was able to help the Camarillo High School achieve a 24-5 record (12-0 in Coastal Canyon League) and capture their Second CIF-SS Title. Coach Foreman is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field. Coach Foreman graduated from Moorpark High School in 2017 before playing collegiate baseball at Ventura College (2018-2019) and Austin Peay State University (2020-2022). He is currently working on his teaching credential at CSU Channel Islands where he looks to be a full-time social science teacher and baseball coach at Camarillo HS in the near future.
Phil Ramirez enters his second season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Coach Ramirez previously coached at Moorpark High School for three years and before that was a coach on the Camarillo High School baseball staff for five years. He has been coaching high school baseball for ten years. Coach Ramirez graduated from Hueneme High School and went on to play collegiately at both Ventura College and Westmont College. Coach Ramirez is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
Jake Mahan enters his second season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Coach Mahan has previously coached at Pacifica High School for two seasons before transitioning over to Camarillo High School. Coach Mahan graduated from Camarillo High School and went on to play collegiately at both Oxnard College and the University of Arkansas. Coach Mahan is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
Tyler Ziemkowski enters his second season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Coach Ziemkowski previously coached at Moorpark High School for two seasons before transitioning over to Camarillo High School. Coach Ziemkowski graduated from Moorpark High School and went on to play club baseball at San Jose State University. Coach Ziemkowski is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
Junior Varsity:
Jerry Foreman (Father Foreman) enters his second season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Father Foreman previously coached at Moorpark High School for four seasons before transitioning over to Camarillo High School. Father Foreman also graduated from Camarillo High School and is a Camarillo alumni. Before coaching, he served as a police officer for 29 years. Father Foreman is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
Sam Arroyo enters his first season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Coach Arroyo graduated from Buena High School and went on to play collegiately at both Ventura College and Cal Lutheran University. Before coaching, he served as a police officer for 26 years. Coach Arroyo is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
Frosh/Soph:
Don Martinez enters his second season as a coach in the Camarillo High School baseball program. Coach Martinez previously coached for Simi Valley High School before transitioning over to Camarillo High School. Coach Martinez graduated from Royal high school where he went on to play college football at both Moorpark and LA Pierce College. Before coaching, Coach Martinez has been an electrician for 20 years. Coach Martinez is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
JJ Vaivao enters his first season as a coach in the Camarillo High school baseball program. Coach Vaivao previously was the head softball coach at Buena High School for two seasons. In 2017, he led the Bulldogs to a 27-0 season capturing their second CIF-SS title. Before coaching, Coach Vaivao served for the County of Ventura for thirty-three years in many different aspects. Coach Vaivao is driven to help each student-athlete in pursuing excellence both on and off the baseball field.
